South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency Head, Syamsul Huda, said the fire happened on Thursday (4/18) by 7:38 PM. It was caused by compressor explosion.

His side deployed 100 personnel with 31 firetrucks and one skylift bronto.
"The fire was localized at 11:10 PM. After being checked again at 6 AM, there was no fire. At 8 AM, personnel evacuated 12 people trapped inside the shophouse," he explained.
Meanwhile, one of shophouse workers, Dika (27), admitted suddenly an explosion heard just before fire burned the shophouse.
"Then firefighter personnel came to extinguish the fire," he admitted.
